There are several factors that make them more prone to diabetes. For instance, if one of your parents or sibling has diabetes disorder, then your chance of getting this disease increases by 20 to 30 percent. Similarly, if both of your parents have suffered from this or there has been a strong history of diabetes syndrome, then you should give extra care to your body right from the early adolescence. Obesity is another risk factor of diabetes. And if you are over 45 and have extra fats over your body, you should go for daily exercise and jogging. In ladies, if at the time of delivery, the weight of their child was more than 9 pounds, then they might get the insulin disorder. High blood pressure also develops the diabetic traits in the body. Diabetes exhibits certain signs in the physiological and psychological functions of the body. If a person notes problem of increased urination and thirst, or feels intense fatigue sometimes, then he might be called as the patient of diabetic disorder. Impotency, Unclear vision and poor healing also mark the beginning of diabetes. Late 40's and 50's is the age when people get retirement from their work and the same age is more delicate to diabetes. So, people after their retirement should give sound attention to their health. Retired persons have a bulk of free time; they can utilize it best by going for long walks and preparing healthy food for themselves. Retired persons must go for regular medical check up and those who are already suffering with diabetes should learn home therapies for it, so that they can practice it in their free time.
